This Coming Week.

-- Thursday, May 17th, 6:30 p.m. -- Book and Spiritual Practice Group on Radical Hospitality. Ladies' Parlour.
The Membership Committee will be co-hosting a book/spiritual practice group on radical hospitality with Rev. Michelle and Anne Perkins co-facilitating. Learning to become radically hospitable is a spiritual practice which asks each of us to undertake a process of inner transformation. For those of you who practice mindfulness and meditation, these practices will be comfortable and familiar to you. For others, a prayer practice can work equally as well.

We will be using the book: Hospitality – The Sacred Art: Discovering the Hidden Spiritual Power of Invitation and Welcome by Nanette Sawyer. The group will meet over the course of 4 weeks; reading 2 chapters a week and practicing the exercises at home before coming to the group. We will meet on Thursday evenings at 6:30 on May 3, May 17, June 14, and June 21.

Please let Rev. Michelle know if you are interested as soon as possible and whether you would prefer to download the book on a Kindle or have a paperback ordered for you.

-- Sunday, May 20th, 9:00 a.m. -- Silent Sitting Meditation. Davis Memorial.
A group of lay leaders will lead a 45 minute silent sitting meditation. All are welcomed!

-- Sunday, May 20th, 10:00 a.m. -- This I Believe. A sermon presented by Rev. Michelle LaGrave.
Service will be held in the Sanctuary.
Coffee Hour following the service.
